The Birds
No it's not a movie review. It's true life! Why do they come around every so often? They are so noisy! They are pest. Too bad they don't eat squirrel! When they all take off together they cast a huge shadow!
My guess would be that you're seeing flocks of birds as they migrate through your area. We're part of the "flyway" for swans, so there's actually a festival and lots of swan viewing once a year. But lots of other birds pass through at different times, too. :)
I never get birds. What I find weird is when there will be a whole group of birds lined up on power lines. To me it always makes me think that they are attending a meeting. Like maybe Wormeaters anonymous.
