6 so we had some time to kill this morning! But she ate happily then looked at books.
This next photo was actually taken the day before her birthday. Her Gr. Gr. Aunt Sigh sent her a balloon bouquet and an adorable teddy bear. We got her a balloon bouquet and she was so excited over all the balloons!
Here her brother is "helping" her open her presents. She was actually just happy to have a wrapped package! Her Grammy and Papaw got her a little tykes piano and xylophone. Generally they're for younger kids, but she LOVES them! I knew she would. I don't know why we never got her one before! She has the drum and she loves beating that thing! She sat down right away and was plinking on the piano like Schroeder from Peanuts! (notice my front door is open! It was almost 70 here today! SOOOO NICE!)
And here she is, in all her 3 year old splendor! Doesn't she look the picture of Spring!
This was her first, but probably not her last birthday while on the ketogenic diet. That's why there's no cake. I thought I'd miss the cake, but it was really nice! We don't go over board having parties for the kids anyway. Just family. Usually some close friends come but they had the flu this week so I didn't even bother asking them. She just got over the worst cold EVER so I'd like to put her in isolation for a while!
Thankfully the epilepsy gave her a bit of a break for her birthday as well! No seizure free day, but only 2 light, small clusters of 15 or less then a few here and there, still very light. A very good seizure day over all! What more could we ask for!
